Due to the possible spread of the Covid-19 virus this Thanksgiving, the Dominican Literacy Center building will be taking an “adaptive pause” from in-person tutoring and canceling tutoring in our building from Monday, November 23, 2020 to Friday, December 4, 2020. There will be no in-person tutoring at the Center on those dates. Remote, telephone and Zoom tutoring will continue. The Dominican Literacy Center building will re-open for tutors and students on Monday, December 7, 2020.
Our staff members, students and tutors have carefully followed all of our safety precautions since September, and we are truly grateful to have avoided the Covid-19 infection here at the Center. This brief pause will help us to continue to be healthy, safe and virus-free.

A causa de la posible propagación del virus Covid-1i este Día de Acción de Gracias, el edificio del Centro Dominicano de Alfabetización tomara una “pausa adaptiva” de clases en persona y cancelara todas clases en el edificio desde el lunes, 23 de noviembre, 2020 al viernes, 4 de diciembre, 2020. No habrá clases en persona en el Centro en esas fechas. Clases virtuales, por teléfono y por Zoom continuaran. El edificio del Centro Dominicano de Alfabetización reabrirá para tutores y estudiantes el lunes, 7 de diciembre, 2020.
Nuestro personal, estudiantes y tutores han seguido cuidadosamente las precauciones de seguridad desde septiembre, y estamos agradecidos de haber evitado infecciones de Covid019 en el Centro. Esta es una pausa breve para ayudarnos a mantenernos con salud, seguros y sin el virus.
