For Tutors and Students:
- We are now beginning to set up group texts for emergencies only using our phone service here at the Center. We will not be using Whatsapp. We will come around to classrooms to ask everyone to give permission for us to text them by signing this sheet and writing in the cell phone number we should use. When we have collected all phone numbers, we will send a practice text to make sure everyone can receive it. Beyond the initial test, this option will only be used for urgent emergency closures.
- Thanksgiving week, we have classes on Monday, November 24, and Tuesday, November 25. Wednesday through Friday classes will not meet.
- Keep working toward your star challenge! Try to visit a classroom today and help support each other as you practice using English together.
For Tutors:
- Each One Reach One: Please keep your eye out for potential tutors for next semester. Also, if you attend a church that publishes a bulletin, please review the bulletin in the next few weeks to see if our announcement appears. If not, please let us know!
